The character in the screenshot (Laverne) is actually a lot more agreeable.
As a side-note: What are you doing with your life?! :) 'Maniac Mansion II: Day of the Tentacle' is _still_ the pinnacle of point-and-click adventure games and it came out in 1993! I am not joking. If you haven't played it by now you should seriously consider the investment. (The 'remastered' version is basically the original, but you get to choose between classic and modernized graphics and resolution. So don't worry about getting "the wrong one".)
