Calling it zero bombing really shows how immature you are. The criticisms are valid and the low scores well deserved, and even further deserved by the attitudes of the artists who couldn't take criticism.
We all got a daily pick trophy and a front page. It doesn't matter how many people give negative reviews because at the end of the day what matters is that trophy & frontpage award. Not to mention the game still has a pretty high avg rating. As far as any bystander'd be concerned, all those negative reviews ARE nothing but meaningless review bombing.
I don't understand why people are this upset though. It's not like when illwillpress was reuploading old Neurotically Yours animations and snagging two daily picks trophies in one day. Your reactions aren't particularly lolcow-y and I would find it hard to believe that the negative reviews are all coming from friends of that girl you insulted via DMs. Maybe this was a lot of peoples' first collab. idk...
As for the remade collab, I'm simply gonna reuse an engine I've had sitting around and slap an art gallery & some music in there. I was thinking about getting really fancy with it, having minigames and even doing it in 3D like an actual N64 game, but I wanna get this thing out sooner than later so it's going to be super scaled down from the original vision in order to save time.
I don't have an ETA at the moment. Probably end of the month. I didn't realize there were 122 submissions when I offered to remake the gallery and I don't want to include any art without the original creators' consent so if I don't hear back from everyone within a reasonable amount of time, my version may have much fewer pieces than the original.
Alex, you had an amazing idea and I personally loved it. However your execution was mediocre (no offence). I am glad that you are doing a remake of the project :)
