Also, Los Angeles and Hollywood is just a small section of the state, you're probably thinking of Southern California, specifically, or just the famous cities (including San Francisco) that are predictably more expensive than the entire rest of the state and country.
...However, if all these Californians moving to Atlanta, Georgia are causing a "brain-drain" here and things really do get bad here as a result, then I could be more flexible...

I know it's kinda late, but the closest thing that would fit that description is @markiplier. He has a newgrounds account and eventually became an actor as well as a director for the iron lung. Also, he voices 5.0.5. in cartoon network's completely neglected show, Villainous.

@xeiavica As a refugee from the once-Golden (& infamously dysfunctional & shit-encrusted) State myself, I'm sorry about our crowding & the inevitable effect on local real estate markets. (Although the latter is a two-way street: housing prices depend on seller action as much as buyers'!) I'm not in Atlanta...am south of there. Unfortunately NV, TX, WA & OR have already received earlier waves of refugees, many of then small-biz owners & other entrepreneurial types.
